Superstar Rajinikanth’s youngest daughter Soundarya was engaged to a city businessman Ashwin Ramkumar in a simple ceremony at a star hotel in Chennai on February 17. The chief minister was present with his entire family to bless the to-be married couple.
Kamal Haasan had also graced the ceremony and had stayed on till the end.
Ajith was there with his wife Shalini.

An engineering graduate, Ashwin did his higher studies in the United States. He is currently looking after his father’s construction business in Chennai, while Soundarya is taking care of Ocher Picture Productions, whose maiden venture 'Goa' hit screens recently.
Date for this love-cum-arranged marriage will be announced soon, say sources in the know.
