Yamuna, Venugopal, a CEO of a software company and one more man, portended to be a broker, were being held for alleged involvement in a prostitution racket during a raid.
After arrest of Yamuna, Police sources stated that “On specific information, we conducted a raid on room no. 1402, 4th floor in ITC Royal Gardenia Hotel, Bangalore. During the raid, we have recovered Rs. 2 laks from actress Yamuna and Rs 46,000 from her pimp Surakshit of Puttur in Andhra Pradesh.”
She was caught along with a software professional, Venugopal, who had checked into room no 1402 of the hotel late on Thursday evening. The raiding police party seized Rs2.5 lakh from the room. The other accused were arrested from different parts of the hotel.
Police sources said Suman had revealed that he had been running a large network, and that his women were all glamorous. Some of the actresses catered to top professionals.
